 Travel tips when visiting Caruao
- The last gas station is in Naiquatá (check the map).
- Don´t forget to bring sunscreen, swimming suit, light clothing, insect repellent, and your camera.
- The road has been paved almost entirely. There are 4 Km of unpaved road near Higuerote that usually is in good conditions. Small cars can reach easily the most visited beaches and rivers of the area. You could plan a trip Caracas-Todasana-Higuerote or the other way round.
- If you are a mountain biking fan we could recommend some good trails.
